An Ohio landscape architect who became one of the most productive designers of the 1980s and 90s, from Michigan resorts to Florida retirements to Half Moon Bay’s clifftop. Hills courses are polished and orderly: doglegs set with care, bunkers placed for the second shot, wetlands used as hazards without ever feeling artificial.
