Dick Wilson’s protégé and, after 1965, the busiest architect in Florida. Lee drew the resort and community courses of the boom years — Disney, Boca, Doral’s siblings — with wide fairways, big gentle greens and water used as a frame rather than a wall. Nothing severe, nothing cheap; the courses were built to be played every day by people on holiday.
